2 c celery chopped
2 c carrots chopped
2 c water
1 1/2 c flour
1 c butter
1 large onion chopped
2 qts water
2 qts milk
8 tsp chicken bullion
Season to taste with garlic salt and
2 lb American cheese, cubed
pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook celery and carrots in water until veggies are tender. Melt butter in pan - add flour and onions. Stir butter and flour together until it makes a paste. Add this to milk and water and let thicken - add veggies. Add cubed cheese and whisk till melted. Simmer 1 hour.

I sometimes add less water and butter and cheese to make smaller portions. Can add other veggies for a little different taste.
