12 small new potatoes
4 tsp butter
4 tsp minced fresh parsley or
4 tsp minced fresh chives or
1 &1/3 tsp dried parsley
1 &1/3 tsp dried chives
1/2 tsp garlic powder, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Peel 1/2 inch strip around center of each potato and immediately place potatoes in medium saucepan of cold water. Bring to boil over medium-high heat. Boil about 20 minutes or until potatoes can be pierced by fork, but firm; drain. Microwave butter about 5-10 seconds (may be longer depending on microwave). Stir in minced parsley, chives and/or garlic. Pour butter mixture over potatoes and toss to coat. For variety, sprinkle with chopped cooked bacon and/or finely minced green onions.
