1 1/2 c. sugar
2 large tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 tsp. vanilla
Chunk of butter
1/2 c. nuts (pecans or walnuts)

Directions:
Directions:
Blend sugar and cornstarch together. Boil the water, vanilla and chunk of butter together until a full boil and dissolved. Add the blended sugar and cornstarch to the water, vanilla and butter and return to a boil. Add nuts, if desired. Boil until the sugar and cornstarch are dissolved. Let cool.


If you add nuts, make sure to use the same day or the nuts will become soggy.
