1 cup milk, scaled
1 cup cold water
1 cup warm water (100-115°)
2 pkts yeast
¼ cup sugar
2½ tsp salt
¼ c oil
Flour (~6 cups?)

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water sprinkled with a little sugar to feed the yeast. Set aside.
Add the sugar and salt to the hot milk after removing the top film. Mix. Add the cold water into the milk and add it to the yeast.
Add some flour. Mix. Add the oil and mix again.
Keep slowly adding flour as needed until your dough is "non-sticky". Cover with linen towel
Let the dough rise until double.
Punch down the dough and let rise again.
Knead some of the dough into shape and place in greased bread pan.
Let rise until double.

Bake at 325° for 40-60 minutes.
Remove from oven when crust is golden brown.
Butter the top crust while still hot.

Grandma made bread every single Wednesday, and often made cinnamon rolls, as well. She'd bake 6 loaves to last until the next week. I loved Wednesday night dinners with fresh bread!
It also makes the best toast EVER!
