8 c. apple pulp
4 c. sugar
¼ tsp. salt
1½ T. lemon juice
1 tsp. cinnamon

For the apple pulp:
Core apples and cut into quarters (don't peel them). Add enough water to cook apples until soft, then press through a sieve.

Combine all ingredients in a crockpot and cook on low until desired thickness.

Can in jars following proper canning procedures. Makes about 8 cups.
