2 cups of white sugar
4 large eggs
5 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups butter, softened
1 tsp. vanila extract
2 tsp. baking powered
cookie cutters

Icing Ingredients

2 cups of icing sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
food colouring
1 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, mix together sugar and butter
2. Beat in eggs and vanilla—Stir in flour, baking powder and salt. Cover and chill the dough for at least an hour or overnight!
3. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Lightly dust a work surface with flour. Roll out dough to 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
4, cut into shapes, place cookies one inch apart
5. Bake in the oven until the cookies are lgihtly browned about 6-8 mintues. Let cool completely before decorating.

Directions of icing

1. Mix all the wet ingredients together
2. Add the icing sugar. Mix until smooth.
3. Separate into separate bowls and add food colouring for the desired colour
4. Decorate cookies!
