● Self Rising Cornmeal
● Buttermilk
● 1 egg

Mix 1 (beaten) egg, 1 cup of cornmeal & 1⁄2 cup Buttermilk
Measurements are approximate, Batter should be thick, not soupy.
Heat greased pan in oven at 400 degrees for 2-3 minutes.
Remove from oven & Pour batter into 9x9 Baking sheet
Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown on top.
***This can also be fried.****
Pour small cornbread patties into hot greased frying pan.
Cook about 1⁄2 to 1 minute and flip. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
Ready to flip when corners are bubbling.
Place on paper towel to absorb grease while hot.
