3/4 c shortening
1 c sugar
1 egg
1/4 - 1/2 c molasses
2 c flour
2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Stir in egg and molasses.
Sift dry ingredients together stir into molasses mixture. Beat well.
Form into 1-inch balls.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet. 12 minutes at 375 F
