4 tablespoons of butter
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
5 cups of fruit (I have used strawberries and peaches)
1 cup sugar

vanilla ice cream

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a 9 x 12 casserole dish and melt in the oven.

Make a batter of the following ingredients by mixing together in a bowl:
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk

Bring 5 cups of fruit and 1 cup sugar to a boil on the stove. (I have used strawberries and peaches). Cool for 5 minutes. (have also used half the sugar)

Remove melted butter from oven. Pour batter over butter and spoon fruit over top. Do not stir.

Bake at 375 for 30 – 35 minutes. Cobbler should be light brown on top.

Serve with 1 scoop vanilla icecream.
