4 pieces of celery, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped

14.5 oz. can of Hunt's whole tomatoes (about 1 1/2 cups)
1 T. Lawry's Chili Seasonings
1 t. chili powder

1 lb. ground beef

30 oz. Hunt's chili beans

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté celery and onions in a small amount of oil.

In medium sized pan (3 qt), put in whole tomatoes, chili seasonings and chili powder. Add celery and onions and simmer.

Brown ground beef and pour off grease. Add beef to tomato mix and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for about an hour.

Add chili beans and simmer for an additional 45 minutes.

Add additional seasonings to taste.

Great-Grandma loved making chili and beans. And she would typically serve it with a side of cornbread. We were partial to Jiffy's!
