1 C Crisco or spray (1 heaping Cup of Crisco)
5 tsp Soda
1 tsp Salt
2 C Boiling Water
2 C Nabisco 100% Bran
1 qt Buttermilk
4 Eggs beaten
5 C Flour
4 C Kellogs All Bran
1 C raisens (optional)

Pour hot water over Nabisco 100% Bran - Cool
Cream shortening and sugar
add Nabisco 100% Bran
Sift flour, soda and salt
Add all at once with Kellogs Bran
Fold in only until all dry ingredients are moist
Add raisens
Bake 15-20 min at 400º

Will keep in frig for 6 to 8 weeks
