2 pks Rapid Quick Yeast
1 C Milk
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 C Sugar
1/2 C Shortening
3 Large Eggs
5 C Flour

Directions:
Directions:
1st Step
Dissolve yeast in 1/2 C Warm Water

2nd Step
Melt shortening
Add the 1 cup of warm milk while shortening is still warm
Add Sugar and Salt
Beat Eggs in another bowl and add the milk/shortening/sugar/salt mixture
Add Yeast Water
Beat in 3 C Flour by hand
Add 2 C Flour - Stir until dough is soft
Stir in 1/2 C Flour
Set in sink of warm water and knead down twice
Put in tins and let rise (grease and flour tins)
Bake at 400º for 10 minutes

I like to melt butter over the top of the bread when I first take it out of the oven.
