Grandma Fox's Turkey Dressing Recipe

1 8x8 pan of cornbread, crumbled
1 small loaf wheat bread, toasted and crumbled
1 C. celery, diced
1 C. onion, diced
3 t. sage
1 1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. poultry seasoning
2 T. butter
3-5 cans chicken broth
2 eggs, beaten

Directions:

Mix together and cover in a large pan. Steam for 10 minutes.

Place in a 9x13 pan and a 8x8 pan. Cover with foil.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 30 minutes.

I have to admit, I have never made this. However, this is one of the few (if not only) recipe I have from Grandma Fox (Ramona Hahn's mother--your Great-Great Grandmother!).

This was a constant at our Thanksgiving table. I was probably too young at the time to appreciate how good it was.
