2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
¾ cup unsalted butter, melted
1½ cups brown sugar, lightly packed
2 large eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º F. Line and butter a 13 x 9" baking pan with parchment paper. In a medium bowl, toss together the flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth and glossy. Then whisk in the eggs and vanilla. Stir in the flour mixture until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips. Transfer the dough into the prepared baking pan and spread out evenly. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let stand for 1-2 hours until relatively cool before cutting into squares

You can make this gluten-free by using 1:1 gluten free flour. I've also made in a 10 x15 inch jelly roll pan and as individual cookies- 1 Tbsp. per cookie.
