1/2 pound rotini, 1/4 c. vegetable oil, 2 T. olive oil, Several twists freshly ground black pepper, 3/4 tsp. salt, 2 T. white wine or tarragon vinegar, 1/4 c. grated parmesan cheese, 1/2 c. sliced, pitted black olives, 1 can (4 1/2 oz. ) small, cooked, peeled shrimp, 1 T. minced parsley

1. Cook pasta in boiling, salted water according to package directions, about 5-7 minutes. Drain. Rinse in cold water; drain well. Toss immediately with vegetable oil and olive oil.
2. Add pepper, salt, vinegar and parmesan cheese to pasta and toss again. Allow mixture to come to room temperature, or follow next step right away.
3. Stir in black olives, shrimp and parsley. Serve.
