1 large package strawberry jello, 1 1/2 c. boiling water, 1 bottle (12 oz.) ginger ale, 1 package (9 oz) frozen strawberries, partially thawed, 1 c. heavy cream (whipped), 10-12 canned peach halves (drained)

Directions:

Dissolve jello in boiling water, stir in ginger ale. Chill until thick and syrupy. Fold in berries and cream. Line 2-quart mold with peach halves, cut side up. Pour strawberry gelatin mixture over peaches. Let set. Un-mold. Top with whipped cream.

I know that the Gordon family was never big on "the mold" but the Seekonk Gordons like this one. I first made it in 1973 for my parents' 40th wedding anniversary.
