3 1/2 cups flour
1 Teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon clove
2 teaspoons ginger
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup mild molasses
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
1 tablespoon water

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl add first 7 dry ingredients.

2. Next mix sugar, molasses and butter.

3. Finally, mix the egg and water together in a separate bowl. Add egg mixture to the bowl. Mix until dough can be formed into a ball.

4. Form 2-3 balls with the dough, wrap in siren wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

5. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin. If the dough is sticking to the roller or table add a bit of flour to the surface you’re working on.

6. Use a cookie cutter to form the desired shapes. Bake in 350 oven for 10 mins!
