1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tarter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup nuts, chopped
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Cream butter, shortening and sugar.
Add other ingredients in order given.
Roll into a ball, size of a walnut or smaller and dip top half in cold water, then sugar.
Place on greased cookie sheet sugar side up.
Leave space between cookies as they spread in baking.
Bake for 10 minutes. (I'm guessing on time I forgot to copy the time).
