2 1/4 c flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 package yeast
1 c very warm water
2 tbsp shortening
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix 1 1/4 cups of flour, sugar, salt and yeast in large bowl. Beat water, shortening and egg together until smooth. Stir in flour mixture. Scrape batter from side of bowl. Cover and let rise warm place about 30 minutes or until double in size. Grease 12 regular size muffin cups. Stir down batter by beating at strokes. Spoon into muffin cups. Let rise 20-30 minutes or until round. Bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
