4 Cups sugar
1 cup corn syrup
3/4 cup water
3 egg whites stiffly beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Place sugar, syrup and water in heavy saucepan. Stir until sugar is dissolved then cook without stirring to 255º.

Remove from heat and pour, beating constantly in a fine stream into the stiffly beaten egg whites.

Continue beating until mixture holds its shape and loses its gloss.

Add vanilla and nuts.

Drop teaspoons of mixture onto cookie sheet and let dry.
