• ½ cup butter or margarine
• 3 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• ¾ cup sifted powdered sugar

Directions:

Melt butter and chocolate over low heat. Combine sugar, flour, and baking powder in large bowl.
Add chocolate mixture, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until smooth. Chill 2 hours.
Roll into 1-inch balls; roll in powdered sugar. Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375°F for 10–12 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
