"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Ingredients:
Chicken (Grandma always used a bone-in chicken, but tenders could be used.)
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 cup cornflake crumbs
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper (of course, I would use more!)

Directions:
Directions:
Dip chicken pieces in evaporated milk, and then roll in cornflake crumbs. Salt and pepper and place pieces in a shallow baking pan lined with foil which has been sprayed. Bake at 350º for one hour (less for tenders?)

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
After church and Sunday dinner during the summer, we would sometimes go swimming at Big Fork Creek. Then before evening church, we would go by Grandma's where it seems like she always had leftover cornflake chicken and lemon cake. She always saved me the wishbone. To this day, that's what I always think about after a summer swim in the creek!
