3 cups flour
3 tablespoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt or to your liking
Shortening (do not use oil) enough to form small pebbles

Directions:
Directions:
Cut in shortening by hand to feel. Add lukewarm water and work into a ball. Place a handmade cross over the top and think of Great Grandma. Cover and let stand for 15 minutes. Pull small balls and roll out on a floured surface into what may look like a circle. Place into a lightly greased pan. Turn when you see bubbles. Place in a covered towel to steam. Taste with a little bit of butter and fresh green chili.
