• 20 large marshmallows (or 1 bag)
• 3 tablespoons butter (add more if you must)
• Green food coloring (to your preference of shade)
• 3 cups cornflakes cereal
• Red M&M minis (about 2 tablespoons) or Red hot candies for garnish

• 1. Place marshmallows and butter in a microwave-safe bowl; microwave, uncovered, on high until butter is melted and marshmallows are puffed, about 45 seconds--OR place on stove at med. to low heat as not to burn! Tint with green food coloring, mix. Stir in cornflakes.
• 2. On a waxed paper-lined baking sheet, divide mixture into 8 portions. With buttered hands, working quickly, (because they harden fast) shape each portion into a 3-in. wreath. Decorate immediately with M&M's, pressing to adhere. Let stand until set.
• Cornflakes take the place of traditional rice cereal in these sweet no-bake Christmas cookies . Dressed up with green food coloring and red candies, these are a fun addition to cookie platters for all ages.

I have made these since I was as young as 14 years old (at 29922 Fernhill Dr.) I still make these every Christmas. They are easy, quick, cost effective and always the first cookies to disappear from the cookie tray! Also great to bring for cookie exchanges.
