1 cup quick oats (uncooked)
1¼ cups boiling water
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1½ cups flour
Topping:
1 stick of melted butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup walnuts
1 cup coconut
½ cup condensed milk

Directions:

Cake:
Mix together quick oats & boiling water - let stand for 20 minutes. Combine with remaining ingredients & mix together. Bake in 9x13 pan at 350º for 35-40 minutes.
Topping:
Mix together ingredients & put topping on cake as soon as it is done. Place in the oven under broiler. Take out when it starts to bubble.
