Directions:
Mix together yeast, warm water, sugar and "a little flour" in a deep dish (6-8 inches high). Have dish warm. Stir into medium paste. Cover and let stand until raised.

Mix evaporated milk, 2/3 cup sugar, melted crisco, water and salt together in pan and heat (do NOT boil).

Have large mixing bowl warm and pour warm liquid into bowl. Add some flour stirring with a wooden spoon until mixture holds together. Then add the 2 eggs mixing in thoroughly. Add yeast mixture to flour mixture and mix well.

Then continue to add flour mixing from outside of bowl to center, pulling spoon towards you. Scrape sides of bowl and continually turn bowl. Mix for 15-20 minutes. Dough will be warm to touch. When dough gets shiny with small blisters, it is ready. Sprinkle a little flour on top of the dough. Cover and let raise in slight warmth of the oven.
