2 cups sliced onion
¼ cup butter
1 ½ quarts beef stock
Dash salt and pepper
½ cup grated cheese
4 - 6 slices toasted bread

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400º
2. In skillet, saute onions in butter until golden brown
3. Add stock and boil for 10 minutes and season
4. Place toast in casserole dish and pour soup over, sprinkle cheese
5. Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown
