You can cut in half if you wish.


2 two packages yeast
2 cups of heated milk
4 eggs beaten
1 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 c of melted butter
1 cup white raisins
8 cups of flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm milk. add 3 cups of flour plus a half cup of sugar. Mix let rise two hours. Add eggs, sugar, butter, raisins, and flour to make a light dough. KNEAD. Let rise. KNEAD again adding flower to make a medium dough
Put in two bread pans . Brush on an egg wash made with one egg and tablespoon of water. . Bake at 325 for 45 minutes -1 hour . I like to divide in 2. Take one of the pile of dough and braid then put into bread pan.
