Carmel Corn - Grandma's Recipe

4 qt air popped popcorn (make the canner pan ½ full)
2 sticks butter
2 cups brown sugar, packed
½ cup karo syrup
molasses
dash+- salt (about ¼ tsp)
1-2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
2 Tbsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in heavy pan. Add brown sugar, karo syrup and molasses. Bring to boil then quit stirring. Boil about 5 minutes.

Put popcorn in well greased large pot (use butter flavor spray).

Remove carmel from heat and add 2 Tbsp butter. Pour over popcorn and stir well to coat all the corn.

Pour onto 2-3 parchment lined baking sheets. Bake at 250º for 60 minutes, stirring every 20 min.

Cool completely before bagging.

This is grandma's recipe, so some of the measurements are very "approximate". She makes this every year during the holidays and gives away by the Ziploc bag-full. The problem with it is that I'll eat the entire bag! Love it!

She also sometimes add peanuts, but I like it better without.
