4 cans - whole green beans, drained (SAVE 1 c. of juice)
8 slices - bacon
1 medium - onion, chopped
4 tsp. - flour OR cornstarch
1 c. - liquid from beans
2/3 c. - cider vinegar
4 T. - sugar
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot or skillet, cook bacon. Drain all but 2 T. of drippings. Sauté onions until tender. Stir in bean juice, vinegar, sugar and flour. Whisk continually until thick. Add beans and toss. Top with bacon. Salt & pepper to taste.
