4 cobs of sweet corn, a little past its prime
2 tbsp bacon grease

Directions:
Directions:
Cut corn off the cob and fry in heated bacon grease. Cook, mixing frequently, until done. VARIATION: Use coarsely shredded cabbage instead of corn.
