1 1/2 c. distilled white vinegar
1/2 c sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp mixed pickling spices
3 c large garlic cloves (about 12 oz.), peeled

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a 3 quart pan, combine vinegar, sugar, salt, and pickling spices. Gring to a boil over high heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
2. Drop in garlic, then boil, uncovered, stirring several times, for 1 minute. Remove from heat and let cool.
3. Pour into jars, cover tightly, and refrigerate for at least 1 day or up to 2 months.
