Notes: Gram used to make this dip. It was said that her sister, Celia, worked for a rich family on Monkey Wrench Lane and when they had parties, Celia would make different things to serve. So she alledgely made up this dip. Although it has come to my attention that many people have been making this dip as well! So not really sure story is true or not. To make extra money, Aunt Celia would wash and iron clothes for these people. I remember visiting her and she had this big washing machine in her kitchen with a "ringer" on it. So back then, after the clothes were washed, you fed them through this ringer to squeeze all the excess water before hanging out to dry. There was no spin cycle! Yikes...that was a lot of work!
