Ingredients:  
1 C. of sifted flour
1 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
¾ C. shortening
½ C. sugar
½ C. brown sugar
1 egg
½ t. vanilla
1 C. rolled oats
1 C. shredded coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder and soda.
Cream shortening, sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla and beat well
Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture and mix well
Add rolled oats and coconut and mix until well blended
Shape into golf sized balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350º for 12-15 minutes
