Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
You will need a 9 by13 pan. (glass is fine)

Put one bag of spice drops in a separate bowl and add 1 tbsp. of flour. Slice the spice drops. (If you need the second bag, just add as you go along.)

It makes it easy if you dip the knife in water before you slice the drops. Make sure you fill a full cup.

Beat eggs thoroughly: add sugar and water and beat again.
Add the flour, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon and stir so all ingredients are combined
Fold in the pecans and spice drops.

Grease a 9 x 13 pan and spread the cookie mixture evenly in pan.

Bake in 325 degree oven for 30 minutes. Remove from oven when they are lightly golden. Insert toothpick to make sure they are done, but do not over cook.

Allow the pan to cool and shake powder sugar over the pan of cookies. Cut in diamond shapes. They are ready to serve. Store tightly.

Hi Friends,

This recipe was a favorite Christmas cookie for Wayne growing up. I wanted to honor Wayne's mom, so I took over the tradition. I have made them for 37 years and they have continued to be a family favorite. I hope you enjoy them!
