Ingredients:
2 c sugar
1 c butter flavor crisco
2 eggs
2 c buttermilk
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla

6-7 c flour

large jar mincemeat

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all items together and start adding flour a cup or two at at time until you have added about 6 cups.( May need to add another cup to make the dough able to roll out)

Continue to add the flour until you can roll out the dough and make the round cookies fairly thin. Place a spoon full of mincemeat in center of each cut out. Make another round cookie and place over the mincemeat, pressing the edges with a fork to keep the mincemeat in the center, Using a knife, cut a slit in the center of the cookie top

Bake 375 10 minutes.

This cookie is also great without the mincemeat, just roll the dough a little thicker
