2 Cups Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice
1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 Cup Brown Sugar, firmly packed
1/2 Cup Butter
1/2 Cup Canned Pumpkin
1/4 Cup Milk
1 Egg
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

Filling:

1 8 ounce package Cream Cheese, softened
2 T. Butter, softened
1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
1 tsp. Vanilla
4 Cups Powdered Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl and set aside. Combine brown sugar and 1/2 Cup butter in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed until creamy. Add pumpkin, milk, egg and vanilla and beat until well mixed. Reduce speed to low and add tge flour mixture. Beat until well mixed. Drop by level tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in a 350 degree oven 9-10 minutes or until set and lightly browned around the edges. Cool 2 minutes before moving to cooling racks. Cool completely. Combine all filling ingredients EXCEPT powdered sugar in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed until smooth. Gradually add 4 cups of powdered sugar, beating well after each addition, until creamy. Spread 2 tsps. filling onto bottom side of one cookie. Top with another cookie, bottom side down. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when all the cookies have been assembled.
