1 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. almond extract
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 400º

Cream butter; add sugar and cream again. Add eggs and extract and beat again. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together and beat into first mixture. Put dough through cookie press onto an ungreased cookie sheet. (If you don't have a cookie press, drop onto cookie sheet with a small scoop or Tbsp and press down with tines of fork.)

Bake at 400º for 10 minutes, until just lightly browned around the edges.
