1 medium to large Head of Cabbage
1 tsp Salt
1/2 stick Margarine
1 Tbsp Sugar
1/2 pint Whipping Cream
2 Tbsp Vinegar (or to taste)
Black Pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cut cabbage thinly. Melt margarine in a large, heavy pot. Cook on low heat until cabbage is soft but slightly firm. Stir often. Add salt, sugar, and pepper. Mix well. Pour in cream. If more broth is needed, add milk or half-and-half. Add vinegar and stir well. Do not boil after cream and vinegar are added. Serves eight.
