1 cup soft shortening (like shortening)
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Cinnamon/Sugar
1/4 cup cinnamon
1 cup sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, sugar and eggs thoroughly. Sift flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt together and stir in with other ingredients. Chill dough. Roll into balls and roll in cinnamon sugar mixture. Bake @ 400ºF
for 8-10 minutes or until lightly brown, but still soft. Cookies will be puffed up at first but will flatten out with crinkled tops
