1 stick of butter at room temperature
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp. Baking soda.
2 tsp. Ground ginger.
2 tsp. Cinnamon.
4 Tbsp. Black strap molasses.

Directions:
Directions:
In electric stand mixer, cream together, butter and sugar add egg mix well

In a separate bowl mixed together, flour, baking soda, ginger and cinnamon to creamed mixture, alternately with the molasses until well blended

Shape batter into 1 inch balls roll each in sugar place 2 inches apart on parchment lined cookie sheet

Bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes

Let’s stand on cookie sheet about 2 minutes before removing to wire rack to cool.
