Pie Crust:
1/2 tablespoon salt
1 cup flour
1/2 cup crisco shortening
1/4 cup tepid water

Filling:
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
2 heaping tablespoons Hershey’s natural unsweetened cocoa
2 heaping tablespoons of flour
Water- only enough to make the dry mixture moist
2 egg yokes (white part must be removed)
1 cup boiling water
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon butter

Pie Crust:
Mix pie crust mixture
It must be refrigerated for the minimum of 30 minutes
Bake at 450º

Filling:
Mix together salt, sugar, cocoa, flour,egg yokes and water to moisten

Before thickening process on the stove
Add 1 cup boiling water
(you must make sure the mixture doesn’t burn)

After the thickening process
Add vanilla and butter

Pour into pie shell, let cool

Note: if topping with meringue, it must be premade
Place it on the pie then put in oven until it is set
