1 c shortening
2 c sugar
3 eggs
3 T milk
5 c flour to consistancy
1½ t cream of tartar
1½ t baking soda
1 t vanilla
¼ t salt
Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream shortening and sugar a little at a time hand mixing.
2. Dissolve baking soda in milk.
3. Add eggs and vanilla to the milk.
4. Add flour, cream of tartar and salt.
5. Add flour to consistency if needed.
6. Roll out onto a floured surface.
7. Cut out the cookies into shapes.
8. Bake at 350º for 10 min.
