Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 10 in graham cracker crust
1 3.4 oz pkg instant vanilla pudding mix
2 c cold whole milk or half and half
1 21 oz can blueberry filling
2 c fresh blueberries
1 lemon, zested (reserve juice and zest)
1 c heavy cream
3 T sugar (granulated or confectioner's)
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare the pudding: Pour the cold milk into a large mixing bowl.
Add the instant pudding mix to the milk.
Beat with a whisk or beaters for 2 minutes or until the pudding is smooth and starts to thicken. Place in refrigerator.

Prepare the whipped cream:
Pour the cold heavy cream into the chilled bowl. Add the sugar, and vanilla extract.
Start whipping on low speed to prevent splashes and allow the sugar to dissolve.

Gradually increase speed: Once the cream starts to get frothy and thicken slightly, increase the speed to medium or medium-high.

Continue beating the cream until it forms firm peaks that stand upright. DO NOT OVERBEAT OR YOU'LL HAVE BUTTER.

Prepare filling:
In a medium sized bowl, add the blueberries and blueberry pie filling. Add 1 T lemon juice and reserved lemon zest. Stir gently.

When the pudding is set, add it to the bottom of the pie shell. Use a spoon to direct the pudding up the sides of the crust leaving a crater inside.

Fill the crater with the blueberry mixture.
Top with whipped cream and refrigerate until ready to serve.

May be done one day ahead. Gram started making in the 90's. It's a Gladding family favorite in the summer but Will also loves this as his birthday treat.
