1 Box Strawberry Cake Mix
2 Eggs
1/2 Cup Butter, melted
8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
1/4 Cup Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
*Optional Frosting: Confectioners sugar, melted butter, milk, lemon extract.
Directions:
Directions:
In mixing bowl with electric mixer, combine the cake mix, eggs and melted butter.
Pour into sprayed 9x13 baking pan.
In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until smooth.
Spread cream cheese mixture on top of cake batter.
Using a knife or skewer to swirl cream cheese filling into cake batter.
The cake batter is very thick because it is more like cookie dough.
Bake in 350° oven for approximately 18-22 minutes until toothpick comes out clean and edges are light golden.
Let cool completely.
*Optional frosting if desired.
Cut into bars or squares.
