2/3 cup sugar

1/3 cup butter

2 eggs, beaten

1 cup orange juice

Grated orange rind from one large orange

2 cup flour, sifted

1 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. baking soda

1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease one loaf pan.

Cream together sugar, butter, and eggs. Stir in OJ and grated rind.

Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir into batter.

Bake for approximately 50 minutes, checking with toothpick after 45 minutes. When toothpick comes out clean, bread is done. Let stand for 20 minutes before cutting.
