2 tbsp butter
1/3 c brown sugar, packed
2 c hot milk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp salt
2 c bread, cubed
1 c raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Heat butter and sugar in skillet over low heat until sugar is melted, stirring constantly. Add milk gradually, stirring to blend. Cool. Add eggs, vanilla and salt. Put bread cubes and raisins in greased 1 quart baking dish and pour milk mixture over top. Place pan in hot water and bake in oven at 350º for 45 minutes, or until knife inserted comes out clean. Serve warm with cream.
