1 lg. onion chopped
1 rib celery chopped
1 TBSP butter
2 cans corn niblets with liquid
1 # raw peeled shrimp
1 12-14 oz can tomato sauce or 11oz can V-8 juice
1/4 tsp granulated garlic
1 bay leaf
salt & pepper to taste
water as necessary
sliced green onions for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté onion & celery in butter until softened but not brown. Add corn with liquid and tomato sauce; use water if necessary to cover contents. Bring to a simmer and add shrimp, bay leaf and about 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper. Simmer until shrimp are pink and cooked thru. Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve steaming hot with french bread.
