2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening
1 cup butter
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup milk
7 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
Frosting Ingredients:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 stick (½ cup) butter, softened
2 tsp vanilla
Dash of popcorn salt
2 lbs powdered sugar

Bake Cookies:
1.Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2.Prepare cookie dough as usual and drop or roll onto baking sheets.
3.Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly golden.
4.Cool completely before frosting.
Make Frosting:
1.In a medium bowl, whip together cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy.
2.Add vanilla and a dash of popcorn salt, mixing well.
3.Gradually beat in powdered sugar (about 2 lbs) until frosting is smooth and spreadable.
Frost Cookies:
1.Spread frosting evenly over cooled cookies.
2.Optional: Decorate with sprinkles or toppings as desired.
