1 cup milk, scalded
1 cup warm water
2 pkgs dry yeast
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs, beaten
4Teaspoons salt
1/3 cup shortening
6-7 cups white flour
1/2 cup warm water

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water. Add shortening and salt to milk. Cool to lukewarm, add yeast and eggs to milk mixture and 1/2 the flour. Beat till smooth. Add 1/2 cup warm water and beat. Add enough flour to make a medium soft dough, knead on lightly floured surface till smooth and not sticky. Let rise 1x till doubled in size. Punch dough down. divide dough into 24 balls and place on a greased baking sheet. Let rise for 1/2 to 1 hour.
Bake at degrees. 12 to 20 minutes, Brush on hot butter
